How we handle your family’s information

Discretion is part of what families come to TALK for. Here, in plain language, is how your family’s information is treated.

No insurer databases

TALK does not file insurance or accept direct billing, so your child’s diagnosis is never submitted to an insurer’s database. If you choose to pursue out-of-network reimbursement yourself with a superbill, that submission is yours to make, on your terms.

Records stay inside the practice

Your child’s records live inside the practice’s own systems, under the same confidentiality obligations as the rest of our clinical work. That includes the office systems that handle scheduling and paperwork after hours: Winston, the AI assistant our team built and supervises, works inside those systems, and anything clinical, or anything it is unsure about, goes to a human.

Never sold, never shared without your say-so

The information you send us is never shared. When coordination helps your child, with teachers, psychologists, referring orthodontists or physicians, it happens with your permission, and release-of-information forms make that explicit.

This website doesn’t watch you

The site itself sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. The contact form composes an email in your own mail app rather than passing your child’s story through a third-party form processor. Our web host keeps ordinary server logs, and that is the extent of it.

Communication on your terms

Text messaging is opt-in, your number is never sold, rented, or shared, and on request we will never reference your child’s care in a text. The full details live in our texting policy.
